Margaret Ann Jackson … A life lived with a uniqueness from only the Creator's touch. Born on June 10, 1953, to the late Luella Spurley (Brim) and George Spurley. Born to Eternal Life on September 24, 2021.
Margaret Ann was raised in the Catholic faith and tradition. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her love for cooking (she had great culinary skills) always left family and friends full and happy. She also loved creating beautiful flower gardens. But mostly it was her love for her children: Tony and Latrica. She was a very private person and loved from a distance, but she loved hard. She worked hard in the field of Household Management for over 30 years.
Margaret leaves wonderful memories to: her children Tony Spurley (spouse Falisha), Latricia Green; Grandchildren Jade Green (Nate), Jordon Tyree, Diamond Spurley, and AJ Spurley; Great Grandchildren Terry Green, Jaylen and Nathaniel Clinker. She leaves behind a brother David Spurley (spouse Danetta), and sisters Jean Spurley, Georgella Spurley, Helen Smith (spouse Ron), and Karen Spurley. Also, her best friends Deborah and Chester Trowel, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
I am at peace … try to believe … It was my time … I had to leave. All of life's needs were met with a peace that surpassed all understanding, and now to the heavens a life rises up like a leaf carried by the wind.
A funeral service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at St. Stephen Church 1018 S. 15th Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40210 with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
