Robert Floyd Manion

Robert "Bob" Floyd Manion, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Bob enjoyed Drag Racing, and working on cars. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Bob will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on May 16, 1932 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Earl and Mable (Williams) Manion. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Diana Manion, Parents and Siblings.

Bob is survived by his Sons, Michael A. Taylor, John (Lisa) Taylor, and Douglas W. Taylor, Daughter, Celena D. (Timothy Kunk) Manion, and Brother, Gordon (Gwen) Manion. Bob also leaves behind to cherish his memory 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home and Cremations- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 1 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
