Lisa Marie Rhea

Lisa Marie Rhea, age 51 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021. She was born on August 23, 1970 to the late Joseph Elwin and Carolyn Ulery Rhea. Lisa graduated from Jeffersontown High School and received her Associate Degree from Watterson College. She was formerly employed with both Humana and Anthem. She was a great mother, loving sister and Nana to anyone she met. She loved to crochet and make baby blankets.

Lisa is survived by her daughter, Ami Laird (Jordan) and step-daughter, Catherine Kidd (Josh); brothers, Ron Zabel (Robin), Thomas Zabel and Joseph Rhea (Susan); nephews, Garrett Zabel and David Tyler; grandchildren, Isaiah, Alexandra, Hadley and Salem; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6pm on Sunday, September 19, 2021 and from 9:30 to 11:30am on Monday, September 20th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Lisa's life will be there at 11:30am, followed by burial at Resthaven Memorial Park.
