Mary Anne (Willhite) Middleton, 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Mary was passionate about her 35-year career as a registered nurse. She truly cherished spending time with her friends and family. Mary was also known for her love of horses and she enjoyed swimming.
She was born on August 28, 1956, in Todd's Point, Kentucky, to John and Ruby (Martin) Willhite. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Middleton; daughters Dorothy and Kimberly Middleton; and brothers, Lynn and Fon Willhite.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Ruby (Keith) Jewell; son, Mark Dorsey; brothers, Johnny (Jan) Shields and Billy (Patty) Willhite; sister, Peggy (Carl) Frazier; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation was selected by the family in accordance with Mary's wishes, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. Contributions in Mary's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (3703 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY 40220).
