Darlene Meyer

Darlene Meyer, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Darlene was an Auxiliary Member of the VFW. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Darlene was a hard and devoted employee to Thornton's and Executive West. She loved helping people and was larger than life, and invited everyone over to the house. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

She was born on July 27, 1961 in Washington, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents, and Granddaughter, Makayla Coffman.

Darlene is survived by her Mother & Father, Rose & Richard Sample, Sons, Billy (Sabrina) Coffman, Jr., Aaron Coffman, and Dustin Coffman, Companion, Ronnie Brooks, Grandchildren, Madilyn Coffman, Lily Coffman, Hunter Coffman, and Jackson Coffman, Brother, Robert (DeAnna) Dessify, Sisters, Traci (Rick) Sigler, and Sherry (David) McCue, Step-Sister, Tammy (Jeff) Warren. Darlene also leaves behind to cherish her memory an Aunt, Uncle, and host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
