1SG David Ernest Cooley, 53, of Norwich, Connecticut, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021.
He was born on December 6, 1967 to Ernest and Joyce Cooley. He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest D. Cooley.
David is survived by his loving Wife of 5 years, Tara Cooley; mother, Joyce Atkinson-Raymond; bonus dad, Martin Raymond; brother, Sean Cooley; children, Lavon (Ronesha) Clark III, James Long Jr., Steven Morris, Nathaniel Richardson III, and Brookelynn Richardson; nieces, Shelby and Ellie.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on July 27th, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions Southwest (10304 Dixie Hwy Louisville, KY 40272). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
