Nancy Louise Davis - Payne, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021.
She was born on September 11, 1946 in Bradhsaw, West Virginia to the late Berlin and Dolly Payne. Nancy was a retired compassionate Nurse; she was someone who went over and beyond a nurses calling. As a nurse, she was always willing to help the less fortunate; she has given away gifts, made them food, given her paycheck, and most importantly her heart and soul to her patients. Nancy was a brilliant woman; she was a avid speed reader, loved reading the London Daily News, loved watching old movies and enjoyed talking sports statistics with her son in-law.

Nancy is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Peyton, son in-law, Chris Pierce, grandchildren, Gregory Peyton, Brittney Rose Shull, Daniel Lee, Jessica Pierce and Ashley Pierce, sisters, Aleta Payne and Carole Payne.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to her Wabby a.k.a Tabby, for all the love and support given to Nancy.
Per Nancy's wishes, there will not be a funeral, any expressions of sympathy may be made to the family for a garden memorial. She loved flowers.
