Shalonda Tranice Jones

Shalonda Tranice Jones was born on January 2, 1974 to Spencer Lee Jones and Shirley Ann Burnett. Shalonda was one of four daughters born to Spencer and Shirley. She graduated from Doss High School and Elizabethtown College.

Shalonda dedicated her life to Jehovah God and symbolized it by water baptism on July 7, 2004. In the past 17 years, she was determined to build a good relationship with Jehovah God. She believed in the resurrection hope and looked forward to the fulfillment of Revelation 21:3, 4. She put her trust and faith in Jehovah and his promise of living eternally on a paradise earth (Psalms 37:29). She shared that hope with her sons, friends and close relatives.

Shalonda was a devoted mother. She took to heart the words found at Proverbs 22:6 "Train a boy in the way he should go; Even when he grows old he will not depart from it." It was her desire to help her sons come to know and love Jehovah God the same as she did.

Shalonda was preceded in death by her baby daughter, Kierra Jones, her younger sister Adrienne Jones, her father Spencer Jones, and her ex-husband
(married 18 years) Darryl Crook.

Among those mourning her death is her dedicated mom, Shirley Ann Jones, her loving and devoted sons, Devon Jones and Cameron Jones, her two sisters Melissa (Ken) Seward and Cheryl (Mike) Olds. Her many loving aunts and uncles, cousins and all of her close friends. Shalonda has several nieces and nephews who she always cherished as if they were her own children. They all will miss their (Aunt Lon-Lu)
dearly.
