Michael A. Lindsey

Michael A. Lindsey, 57, of Leitchfield, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and loved his family with all his heart. He was a hard worker and many jobs working as a brick layer, farmer, constable, and special deputy. He always loved to build and could do anything he put his mind to. Michael left an impression on anyone and everyone he met and will truly be missed by his friends and family.

He was born on October 6, 1963 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to Carl and Donnie (Burkhead) Lindsey. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Lindsey, mother, Donnie Faye Lindsey; siblings, Wendell Lindsey and Kevin Hack.

Michael is survived by his loving Wife of 7 years, Sallie Joann Lindsey; children, Jessica (Wayne) Fox, Gabrielle (Bryant) Taylor, Sara Lindsey, Amberly Duff, Katelyn Lindsey, and Christina Duff; grandchildren, Abigail Selep, Charlie Fox, and Landon Easley; siblings, Danitha (Michael) Ezell and Roger (Cindy) Hack. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
