Elijah Bowman, 31, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Eli was compassionate, thoughtful, adventurous, hardworking, and had the most contagious laugh. Eli loved working at FirstBuild; creating alongside his co-workers whom he loved and respected. Eli loved all things cars from day one, the faster the better. He loved music, and was a talented drummer, filmmaker, and photographer. He loved his dog Madi. Eli worked out his faith in Jesus through a lifelong pursuit of truth.
Eli was born on July 8, 1989 in Louisville, Kentucky to Bobby and Amy Bowman. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Papaw Bowman, Sr., Nana Bowman, Papaw Fentress, Nana Fentress and Elizabeth's grandparents, Bob and Margaret Miller
Eli is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Elizabeth Bowman; parents, Bobby and Amy Bowman; sisters, Hannah Bowman and Emma Bowman (Trevor); niece, Lyla Grace; grandmother, Grandma Judy; Father-In-law, Rick Miller; Mother-In-Love, Jeana Miller; Brother-In-Law, Jeremy Miller; Brother-In-Law, Jared Miller (Brianne); Sister-In-Law, Jeanette Krebs (Mark); Brother-In-Law, Timothy Miller (Evetta); Sister-In-Law, Aimee Opay (Brendan); Brother-In-Law, Noah Miller; grandparents, Jim and Beverly Keating; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Crestwood Campus of Southeast Christian Church, (6201 Crestwood Station, Crestwood, KY 40014), visitation will also be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, on Monday, May 24, 2021, at the church, with his Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm.
Burial will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In true Eli fashion, the king of sticker bombing, we'd love for everyone to bring a sticker to put on his casket.
