Michael Dorsey

Michael Dorsey, 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021. Mike was a hard working man and he was the jack of all trade with a great sense of humor. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and also loved to watch basketball (Never missed a UofL game). He sure could cut a rug with the best of them. Mike left an impression and will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor and pleasure of meeting him.

He was born on November 23, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Lillian (Moxy) Dorsey. He is preceded in death by his father, John Dorsey and mother, Lillian Dorsey; brother, John Dorsey.

Michael is survived by his loving family, children, Michael Dorsey, Jr., Mikea Huguley, and Michael (Amber) Dorsey, III; grandchildren, Cassidi Wilson, Korde` Brookins, Kapri Brookins, and Drayden Dorsey; brother, Robert Travis; nieces, Latoya Wise, Latasha Wise, India Rushin, and Denise Rushin; nephews, Robert Wise, Jordan Travis, and Jayare Rushin. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 4:30 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
