Kenneth B. Howard

Kenneth B. Howard, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
He was born on December 5, 1937 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to Claude Oliver and Lula Alene (Birch) Howard . Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Tommy Howard, and siblings, JD Howard, RL Howard, Billy Howard, Harry Howard, George Howard and Betty Wilson.
Kenny served our country while enlisted in the U.S. Navy and retired from Brown and Williamson. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge # 511 since 1972 and a member of the Scottish Rite since 1986. In his free time, Kenny loved spending time with family, fishing and repairing machinery of any kind. His family and friends will always remember his great story telling and that he was a friend to everyone he met.
Kenny is survived by his loving companion of 35 years, Lillian Hayes, granddaughter, Kendra (Jason) Boeck, great grandchildren, Emma, Maggie and Tommy, siblings, Joyce Alvey, Pat Cleveland, and Roger (Denise) Howard, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
