James "Jim" Casey

James "Jim" Casey, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Jim loved movies and everything about Elvis Presley. He loved to tell jokes and see everyone happy. He was the guy that loved everyone and would give you the shirt off his back. Jim will truly be missed by everyone that had the honor of meeting him.

He was born on October 30, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edward and Vina (Divine) Bodemann. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward A. Casey; siblings, Janie Casey, Richard Bodemann, and John Bodemann.

James is survived by his loving family, mother, Vina E. Bodemann; siblings, Kenny Casey, Wanda (Ricky) Taylor, Gerald "Punkin" Bodemann, Ruth (Dale) Bodemann, Frank (Holly) Bodemann, Katie Bodemann, and Karen Bodemann. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
