John F. Robertson, 84, of Fisherville, Kentucky, went to be with his Savior on Thursday, March 11, 2021.
He was born on April 26, 1936 in Ottawa Ontario, Canada to the late Frank and Winnetta (Gray) Robertson. He is also preceded in death by his sister Joyce Dickens.
John was a member of Southeast Christian Church where he ushered for several years and was a member of the Peacemakers Class. He retired as a civil engineer after 45 years and consulted in forensic engineering upon retirement. He had a passion for music and was an accomplished classical and jazz pianist. John loved theatre and acted in several productions in Ottawa and Detroit. He enjoyed sports especially hockey, baseball, football, U of L basketball and played golf, hockey and tennis.
John is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Peggy (Ross) Robertson, son Jeff Robertson of Orlando, FL, daughter Jennifer Robertson of Colorado Springs, CO, granddaughter Kirsten Robertson of Orlando, FL and brother George Robertson (Barbara) of Ottawa Ontario, Canada.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Chapel In The Woods, (1407 Moser Road Louisville, KY 40299).
The family requests that contributions in John's memory be made to Alzheimer's Association and/or Southeast Christian Church.
