Edward Louis Tribbey, Sr.

Edward Louis Tribbey, Sr., 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Edward was a faithful Catholic and enjoyed dancing, Karaoke, and traveling. Of all his pastimes, his favorite was spending time with his family.
He was born on October 3, 1940, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Robert and Margaret (Campbell) Tribbey. Along with his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Madelyn Tribbey.
Edward is survived by his loving children, Anne (Dale) Payne, Edward (Donata Kopman) Tribbey, Jr., Mark (Debi) Tribbey, and Bryan Tribbey; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; significant other, Mary Weiter; siblings, Marrianne (Jerry) Holcolmb and Bill (Donna) Tribbey; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Edward's memory be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
