Gail Lee

Gail Lee, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. Gail worked in the insurance industry for her whole career. She loved going to the car shows with Donnie and her friends. She also enjoyed working in the yard and playing with her cats. She loved the life she had and family meant everything to her. She will be greatly missed by everyone she has ever met.

She was born on February 25, 1947 in Pineville, Kentucky to General and Geneva (Cox) Lee. She is preceded in death by her parents, General Lee and Geneva Lee; husband, Donald B. Baumgardner; siblings, James Lee, General Lee, Jr., Waylon Lee, Ancil Lee, and Miranda Helton.

Gail is survived by her loving sisters Georgia R. (Willard) Lowe and Nancy (Vernon) Shelley. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery - Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
