Julie Ann Shinton-Fried, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
Julie was employed by Louisville Metro Government in the Brightside Division for over 20 years.
Julie was born on September 8, 1966 in Louisville, Kentucky to Paul and Joyce Shinton. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Shinton Jr., brother, Paul Shinton, III, and nephew, Chad Kopple.
Julie is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Alan Fried, mother, Joyce Marie Lyons, sisters, Theresa Lynn Kopple (Kenny), Laura Shinton, and Wendy Olsen, Step-Daughter, Jennifer Dedman (Mike), Grandchildren, Mason Dedman, and Eli Dedman, and many nieces, nephews, sister and brother's-in-law.
The family requests that contributions in Julie 's memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville, or American Cancer Society.
Because of Covid-19 restrictions, there is not going to be any service at this time.
