Gloria Jean Berry

Gloria Jean Berry, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021.

She was born on April 18, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Carl and Alice Flourney Berry. Gloria was a lifetime member of Sycamore Chapel United Methodist Church. She started out in her early years working at K-Mart, where she worked for almost 30 years. She finished out the rest of her career at Kroger where she worked for almost 20 years. Gloria enjoyed her children and grandchildren more than anything, she also spent her time crocheting, cooking, and reading. Gloria also loved to watch movies, as well as singing and listening to music. Christmas was one of her favorite times of year and she loved to get together with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Craig, Albert, and Donnie Berry; and various aunts, uncles, and other family members.

Gloria is survived by her Sons, Chris (Amanda) and Eric Berry; grandchildren, Cain Davidson (Victoria Gonzalez), Eric Berry, Jr., Alix Berry, Kaylynn Berry, Abigail Berry, Treasure Berry, and Eternity Berry; great grandchild, Neo Davidson; mother-in-law, Sherry Deering; sister-in-law, Beverly Berry; former daughter-in-law, Christina Hovanitz; nieces and nephews, LaTisha Evans, Faith Green (I'Ron), Laura Allen (Rodrick), Trenton Silva, Kevin Petty, Maria Petty, Albert Petty, Brittany Purcell, Allison Purcell; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Pewee Valley Cemetery East.
