Larry Lee Cox, 65, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. Larry was a proud veteran who retired from the Army National Guard. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time in his garage and woodworking and absolutely adored his grandchildren. Larry was a faithful member of Parkway Southern Baptist Church.

He was born on July 6, 1955 in Greenville, Kentucky to the late Leon and Sible Mayes Cox. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie and Jerry Cox.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Doreen Cox; daughters, Lynn (Jimmy) Omerso, Sherry (Matthew) Logsdon and Jennifer (Brian) Agee; brothers, Billy (Sharon) Cox, Mike (Becky) Cox and Gibby (Wanda) Cox; sister, Caroline Cox; grandchildren, Jordan, Zack, Michaela, Matthew, Austin, Andrew, Alex, Brooklyn; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful puppies, Alisha & Dexter.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Parkway Southern Baptist Church (2508 Corydon Pike, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at the church with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.
