In loving memory of Otis Martin, Jr., February 11, 1944 - January 2, 2021
Otis Martin, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Jewish Hospital after a series of health issues. He was born on February 11, 1944 to the late Mary Lee Montgomery and Otis Martin, Sr. Otis graduated from Central High School. He worked at LI Drums for many years. Otis was a hardcore University of Kentucky Fan, loved old cowboy movies and of course the daytime soap The Young and the Restless.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Rochelle Martin.
Otis is survived by his brothers, jimmy Martin and Paul Martin; his son Robert Martin with his first wife, Thedy Harrison; twins Jermaine Martin (Angelica) and Ju-Nell Scott (Jeron) with his second wife, Paula Martin; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). There will be a time to share stories and other remembrances at 12:30pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
