Albert "Sonny" Terry, Jr., 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
He was born on December 1, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Albert Terry and Phyllis (Cassady) Crenshaw. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Janet Kay Terry, daughter Donna Sue Terry, grandson Matthew Christopher Terry and two sisters Wilma Balsley and Joyce Owens.
Sonny is survived by his loving daughters, Shawn Terry (Tony), Michelle Terry, Charlene Terry (Pug), Kimberly Terry (Bryant), grandchildren Brandon Alba, Jr., Autumn Alba, Isaiah Saling, Laiken (Stephen) and Cambren, Aaron, Austin, Tyler, Shyann and Cody Terry. He is also survived by two great grandchildren Braylen and Kaia Durham.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
Visitation will be also from 9:00 am until the of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Sonny's memory be made to the Kentucky Avenue Church of Christ (1418 Belmar Dr, Louisville, KY 40213).
