Michael Edward Bowman, 72, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. He was a 1967 graduate of Clarksville High School, where he played football. Mike was a former employee at Standard Gravure and was an avid sports fan and fisherman.
He was born on June 17, 1948, in New Albany, Indiana, to Carl and Dorothy (Hess) Bowman. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his son, Jason Bowman.
Mike is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Wanda (Niemeier) Bowman; son, Brian Bowman; granddaughter, Willow Bowman; siblings, Angela Sellmer and Ronald Cunningham (Victoria); and eight nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen following Mike's wishes. Contributions in his memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org/donate).
