Donna Simmons, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
She was born on November 20, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Don and Hazel (Young) Tamplin. She is also preceded in death by her step-sister Janet Higgs Welch and step-father Marvis Higgs.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Karen Bonsell (David), Julie Hattaway (Todd) and Jessica Simmons (James Kincade), six grandchildren Rebekah Bonsell, David Lee Bonsell, Branton Hattaway, Taylor Way, Alexander Kincade and Trinity Kincade.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am on Monday, January 11, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Penn Run Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Donna's memory be made to a charity of your choice.
