Helen LaVerne "Bunny" (End) Wallace, 82, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away at home on Thursday, December 24, 2020, with her family by her side. LaVerne was a life-long member of St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church. She worked for Southern Bell from 1956 to 1964, was the owner of Jan & Jill's Florist in Louisville and the Bridal Bokay in Floyds Knobs, and enjoyed boating and camping at Nolin Lake. She enjoyed visiting her home in Ft. Myers, Florida, and enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family.
She was born on July 13, 1938, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William and Mary (Clark) End. Along with her parents, LaVerne is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Roland "Goose" Wallace; and siblings, Marilyn Koppel and James and Robert End.
LaVerne is survived by her sons, Jerry (Tracie), Brian (Missy), and Michael (Tanya) Wallace; daughters, Janet (Ron) Kruer and Jill Wallace; ten grandchildren, Adam (Amanda), Brett (Kristina), Kasey, Ramey, Evan, and Lauren Wallace, Erin (Mike) Smith, Paige (Jacob) Hornung, Bailee Kruer, and Tyler Hoke; great-grandchildren, Maci Wallace, Henry Hornung, Emily Smith, and Jayden Hoke; brother, William R. End; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and fellow church members.
Her Visitation and Funeral Mass will be kept private. She will be laid to rest in the St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
The family requests that contributions in Helen's memory be made to St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church.
