Margaret Elizabeth Lesher, age 90, of Louisville KY, passed away December 23, 2020 due to Covid19. She was born on March 13, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Ernest and Dorothy Fox. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Earl Lesher; and daughter, Marilyn. Margaret survived dramatic global emergencies such as polio, the great depression and WW2 in which her parents served. The Covid19 pandemic contributed to her death but she was a strong survivor inspiring an ethos in her three children to become anything they wanted to be, as long as they did their best.
Margaret is survived by daughters, Marty Walsh (Pete) and Marianne Lesher; and by grandson, Brian Cade (Traci); and two great grandchildren, Sydney and Tyler Cade.
When travel and being in groups becomes safe again, we will gather for a memorial in her name. Her ashes will be laid to rest next to husband Marvin by the red maple tree at Middletown Christian Church.
