Joseph A. Redmon

On Monday, November 30, 2020, Joseph "Joey" A. Redmon passed away at the age of 33. Joey was born on December 12, 1986 to Otis Allen Redmon, Jr. and Teresa Zimlich. He was a landscape foreman and worked for his dad's landscape company. He will be deeply missed by family and friends, and especially his dad who worked side by side with him most every day. Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Zimlich; his sister, Kristen Redmon; his grandparents, Otis and Doris Redmon and Joseph and Dorothy Zimlich.

Joey is survived by his father and step-mother, Otis Allen Redmon, Jr. and Jackie Redmon; his brother, Otis Allen Redmon, III; Joey's girlfriend, Carol Cox; his nieces, Chelsea and Aalyia and his nephews, Otis IV, Kameron and Layton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Joey's life will be held on his birthday privately.

In keeping with Joey's kind heart, he decided many years ago to donate life so others may live. He fulfilled that wish by becoming an organ and tissue donor.

The family requests that any expressions of sympathy be made in Joey's memory to Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates, 10160 Linn Station Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40223.
