Linda Gail Hardin

Linda Gail Hardin (Shaffer), 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020. Linda enjoyed going to church. She enjoyed being with her son and grandkids. she loved music and poetry. She has won many awards with her poetry over years.

She was born on February 22, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ernest and Edith (Fisher) Shaffer. She is preceded in death by her Father, Ernest Shaffer, and Brother, Ernest E. Shaffer.

Linda is survived by her loving family, Mother, Edith Shaffer: Son, Aaron K. Hardin: Grandchildren, Haley A. Hardin, and Aaron "Bubby" Hardin: Sisters, Patricia (Robert) Clark, and Carolyn Beams: Life long friend of 35 years, Natalie Harris. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery in Fairdale, Kentucky.
