Kenneth "Ray" Stoner, Sr.

Kenneth "Ray" Stoner, Sr., 76, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020. Kenneth was a member of Northside Christian Church and a former member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. He liked hunting and watching movies and was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He was born on January 9, 1944, in Charlestown, Indiana, to the late Lee and Ida (Rabb) Stoner. Along with his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his siblings, Irvin Stoner and Helen Gearing.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Knasel) Stoner; children, Catherine Stoner, Kenneth R. (Valerie) Stoner, Jr., and Joseph (Eve) Stoner; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
The family requests that contributions in Kenneth's memory be made to the American Heart Association.
