Michael Evans Fowler, 59, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. He enjoyed camping, spending time outdoors, and classic cars. Michael was an avid cyclist and fan of the Louisville Cardinals. He lived life to its fullest. Michael had an infectious laugh, and everyone always loved spending time with him. He was a proud member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
He was born on December 6, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Evans and Christine (Antle) Fowler. Michael was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, June Fowler.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Annette (Andres) Fowler; children, Adam Von Dwingelo (Juanita) and Lauren Fowler (fiancé, Chris Armstrong); grandchildren, Aiden McKinney, Kai Von Dwingelo, and Viviann Armstrong; and siblings, David Fowler (Lynn), Robert Fowler, and Cheryl Schaefer (Bob).
Cremation was chosen following Michael's wishes. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a sharing of memories beginning at 5:00 p.m. His memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (5719 St. Mary's Road, Floyds Knobs). He will be laid to rest privately at a later date at St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery.
