Mary Ann (Bright) Mayfield, 91, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020.
She was born on May 25, 1929, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Andrew and Mary Higgins Bright. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Mayfield; brothers, George and James Bright; and sister, Dorothy Hastings.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving daughters, Sharon (Paul) LaHue and Judy (Richard) Robertson; grandchildren, Darrell (Nichole) LaHue, Sherryl (Daniel) Elias, Julianne (Joshua) Braun, Richard Robertson, and AJ (Kimberly) Robertson; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday August 20, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
The family requests that contributions in Mary Ann's memory be made to the Humane Association of Clark County (2702 Middle Road, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
