Mary "Dolores" Hamilton

Mary "Dolores" Hamilton , 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Park Terrace Health Campus. She enjoyed making crafts, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was born on May 3, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky to Leonard and Anna (Williamson) Hamilton. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers, Eugene Hamilton, Bud Hamilton, and Johnny Hamilton, Sisters Thelma (Bill) Schmetzer, and Rita (Bob) Evans.

Dolores is survived by her loving, Niece; Sharon (Paul) Bowling, Nephews; Mike Evans, Bobby (Bunny) Schmetzer, Gary Schmetzer, David (Betty) Schmetzer, Mark (Vickie) Schmetzer, Len (Laura) Hamilton, Leslie Hamilton, and Lance (Mabel) Hamilton. Dolores also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Great-Nieces & Nephews, Friends, Park Terrace Staff, and her favorite dog companion Winston.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Park Terrace Health Campus for their Care and Compassion for Dolores the past 6 years.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
