Richard Larue Jarvis

Richard Larue Jarvis, 78, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Richard was a simple man who liked hotrods, working as a mechanic, and eating, especially the seafood in Louisiana.
He was born on August 28, 1941, in Martwick, Kentucky, to the late Robert and Luell (Vincent) Jarvis. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughters, Carma Spond and Leanne Hutchinson; and brothers, R.E. Jarvis and Buddy Jarvis.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jarvis; son, Richard E. (Denise) Jarvis; sister, Ava Joyce Milligan; and grandchildren, Lexi (Sam) Self, Orry (Breanna) Jarvis, and Zayne Hutchinson.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
