Marilyn Naomi (Briggs) Triplett

Marilyn Naomi (Briggs) Triplett, 97, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. Marilyn was a member of the former Grace Presbyterian Church and stayed a devout Christian her entire life. She loved painting, working in the yard, bird watching, her pets, and making "smushed'up eggs" for her grandchildren.

She was born on December 20, 1922, in Sullivan, Indiana, to the late Harry and Della (Barton) Briggs. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Elbert Triplett; and sisters, Junietta Stout and Emma Jane Boyd.

Marilyn is survived by her loving children, Timothy (Denise) Triplett, Cynthia (James) Hargett, and Brenda (William "Bill") Daily; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be kept private for her family members. She will be laid to rest in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
