Brenda Smiley ,71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
She was born on September 5, 1948 in Louisville , Kentucky to William and Dora (Long ) Poole. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband , Gary Smiley, brother, Patrick Poole, sister, Rosemary Hubbard, and sister, Peggy Root.
Brenda is survived by her son, Curtis (Lisa ) Stratton, son, David (Tammy) Stratton, step son, Anthony (Chris) Smiley, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Margaret (Napoleon) Edmondson, and brother, Jerome (Sherri) Poole.
Visitation will be from 12-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy on Monday, June 15th. A service celebrating Brenda's life will take place at 4pm on Monday.
The family kindly suggest that expressions of sympathy be made to the KY Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
