Doug Walton, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
He was born on April 2, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Thomas and Margaret
(Hendricks) Walton. He is also preceded in death by his parents.
Doug is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Gloria Walton, brother Thomas Walton, sister Patricia Price, daughter, Lisa York, daughter, Becky Herald, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Doug loved his family, pets, and John Wayne. He enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. He spent most of his life serving others in his community. He retired with the St. Lucie County Florida Sheriff's Department. In retirement he spent time enjoying being with his wife and grandchildren.
A celebration of Doug life will be held at a later date.
The family requests that contributions in Doug's memory be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.
