David L. Burke, 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020. David enjoyed Coaching Softball at Holy Cross and Loved to play baseball and softball for many local teams.
He was born on September 28, 1925 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Lillian (Morris) Burke. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lillian Burke and brothers, Joe Burke, Ellis Burke, and Vincent Burke.
David is survived by his loving daughters, Patricia (Irvin) Fuchs, Brenda Bryant. Sons, Charles Burke, David A. (Kellye) Burke.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in David's memory be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville.
