Shawna Lynne (Mercer) Lentz, 48, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She loved spending time outdoors camping, fishing, and horseback riding.
She was born on September 21, 1971, in Louisville, Kentucky. Shawna is survived by her husband, Greg Lentz; parents, Bruce Mercer (Linda) and LaVada Davis; children, Jessica Kiper (Samuel), Frank Redmon, Nicholas Redmon (Kayla), Ashley Redmon, and Meagan Morris (Jacob); brother, Ryan Mercer; and ten grandchildren.
A reception of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with cremation to follow according to Shawna's wishes. Contributions in her memory may be made to the family to help assist with funeral expenses.
