Jeanine Marie (Babcock) O'Connell

Jeanine Marie (Babcock) O'Connell, 59, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. She was an American Sign Language teacher for many years and volunteered annually for various local summer camps. Jeanine was an avid florist and long-time member of Howard Park Christian Church in Clarksville.

She was born on September 20, 1960, in South Bend, Indiana, to Robert Babcock and the late Mary (Stalker) Babcock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Matthew O'Connell; and son, Brendan O'Connell.

Along with her father, Jeanine is survived by her daughter, Sarah O'Connell; sister, Debra Meyer; brother, Jeff Babcock (Donna); niece, Tiffany Meyer; and nephew, Jackson Babcock (Melissa).

Cremation was chosen following Jeanine's wishes, and she will be laid to rest privately at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana. Contributions in her memory may be made to the National Autism Association (One Park Avenue, Suite 1, Portsmouth, RI 02871).
