James Michael Sowders

James Michael "Mike" Sowders, 71 passed away Sunday May 17, 2020. He was a retired Command Master Chief in the U.S. Navy Seabees with 36 years of service. His military service included 2 tours in Vietnam and multiple other deployments. Mike also was in the HVAC and construction business for several years with his own business, J. Michael LTD.
He is survived by his two sons, Shane Sowders, and Ryan (Pam) Sowders, three granddaughters, Jamie, Delaney, and Julie Sowders, grandson, J.T. Sowders, sisters, Connie (Dennis) Hash, and Rhonda (Andy) Craven, brother, David (Ronda) Yates.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 am on August 11, 2020 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, Kentucky
