Timothy Lee Barton, 66, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. He was an avid golfer and fan of the Green Bay Packers. Tim was a family man that enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting guns, and singing.
He was born on May 3, 1954, in Dixon, Illinois, to Donald and Joan (Mayo) Barton. Along with his parents, Tim is survived by his wife of over 43 years, Vetta (Babb) Barton; sons, Chadd Barton (Heather) and Derek Barton (Sarah); siblings, Patricia Schneider (Todd), Joyce Dolister (Randy), Donna Williams, and Mark Barton (Amy); and grandchildren, Whitney Frank, and Tristyn, Bryce, and Ella Barton.
Cremation was chosen following Tim's wishes, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
