Ronald Lee "Ron" Priddy, 86, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Ron retired as a Police Sergeant after 27 years of service with the Louisville City Police Department. He was a past Mason, and member of the Sunset Lodge and the Scottish Rite. Ron was a Korean War veteran where he served as an Army Paratrooper and was an avid animal lover who loved spending time with his fur babies, Molly and Daisy.
He was born on March 18, 1934, in Monroe City, Missouri, to the late William and Lenore (Skinner) Priddy. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Ronald Brent Priddy; and daughter, Anita Dawn Priddy.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Teri Priddy; son, William Duley; and cousin, Ernie Marks.
He will be laid to rest privately at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
The family requests that contributions in Ron's memory be made to the Floyd County Animal Shelter.
