Mike Cummings, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. He was born on May 29, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Harold and Carol Cummings. He proudly served in the US Navy. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He retired from Derby Industries. He was a loving Dad, Pepa, brother and friend.
In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Suzie Cummings and Lamar and Iona Peckinpaugh.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Scotty Cummings; grandchildren, Landon, Noah and Grayson Cummings; siblings, Jerry Cummings, Tammy (Craig) Gordon, Janita (Tony) Gettelfinger, Roger Cummings; many nephews and nieces; and many great-nephews and great-nieces.
A memorial service to celebrate Mike's life will take place at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. The family will accept guests for visitation at the funeral home prior to the service from 2:00-4:00 pm.
