Kathy Lynn (Hall) Mccollum

Kathy Lynn Hall McCollum, 56, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Kathy had a strong faith in God and enjoyed attending St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville. She had a caring and giving heart that shined through in her passion for taking care of children. Kathy deeply loved her family and always enjoyed taking road trips and going on spontaneous adventures.

She was born on November 3, 1963 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Alfred and Patricia Kerstiens Hall. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Stevie Hall.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, husband, Wayne McCollum; son, Gary (Jacklyn) McCollum; daughter, Amanda (Matt) Marion; daughter, Maggie (TJ) Nichols; daughter, Kenzie Nyhuise; daughter, Lacie Nyhuise; son, Owen Nyhuise; sister, Karen (Paul) Haeberlin; brother, John (Lisa) Hall; brother, Frank Hall; sister, Bev Massey; sister, Lisa (Robert) Abrams; grandchildren, Honestie, Emma, John Richard, Mason, Maddox and Ellie Mae; niece, Courtney; nephews; Andrew, Brandon, Scotty and Jaydon; and all of her grandfur babies.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions - Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation was chosen following Kathy's wishes.
