Elizabeth Ann (Huff) Fischer

Elizabeth Ann (Huff) Fischer, 85, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. She was born on May 1, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John and Anna (Lucas) Huff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Fischer, Jr.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Patricia Phipps, Robert Fischer (Kathleen), Rebecca "Becky" McCorkle (Jerry), John Wesley Fischer (Laura), Carol Marie Jones (Johnny), Esther Holsworth (Don); siblings, Barbara Braumuller (Stan), Louise Henderson, Tommy Huff, Hally Huff (Wilma); Alma Charboneau (Leon); grandchildren, Doug Thompson, Scott Thompson, Donnie Holsworth (Michelle), Philip Holsworth (Audra), Andrew Holsworth (Kineta), Samuel Holsworth (Melissa), Tommy Blair (Lisa), Michelle Morrow (Todd), Chris Blair (Amanda), Angela Andrews (Tyler), John Fischer(Ayumi), Catherine Proctor (Tim), David McCorkle, Greg McCorkle (Jessica), Timothy Fischer (Lakin), Daniel Fischer, Sarah Fischer; 32 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 11:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
