Donna Lynn (Mattingly) Fitzgerald

Donna Lynn (Mattingly) Fitzgerald, 51, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019. Donna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany and will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and caretaker of her family. She loved flowers, crafts, sewing, costuming, and the UofL Cardinals.

She was born on May 2, 1968, in Lebanon, Kentucky, to Helen (Newton) McCauley and the late James Mattingly.

Along with her mother, Donna is survived by her loving husband, Thomas "Tom" Fitzgerald; son, Michael (Amelia Graviss) Fitzgerald; siblings, Patrick (Lois) Mattingly, Jeff Mattingly, and Bernard (Madonna) Mattingly; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery in New Albany.

The family requests that contributions in Donna's memory be made to the New Albany-Floyd County Animal Shelter.
