Leonard Curry, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Leonard was a member of Energize Baptist Church, and was a retired Taxi Cab driver.
He was born on April 22, 1937 in Horse Cave , Kentucky to Garland and Hattie (Whiteside) Curry. He is preceded in death by parents; and 11 siblings.
Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marva Curry; sons: MacDonald Curry, Arthur Curry, Leonard (Valerie) Curry , Jr., Xavier Curry, Jeffrey (Debbie) Curry, Michael Curry; daughter, Leslie (Jeremiah) Capers.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at Greater Friendship Baptist Church, 2325 Osage Ave., Louisville, KY., with burial to follow in Green Meadows Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions in Leonard 's memory be made to The American Diabetes Association.
