Mary Elizabeth (Love) Yost, 89, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Mary enjoyed watching TV, keeping up with the lives of her grandchildren, and spending time with her good friend, Margie Stephenson.
She was born on February 8, 1930, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late George and Gladys (Babbs) Love. Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George Yost.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Laura (Jim) Emerson; grandchildren, Ross (Gabriella) Emerson, Ryan (Lindsi) Emerson, Jami (Kenneth) Potter, and Jenna (Ryan) Foster; and great-grandchildren, Lucas Emerson, Kyan Emerson, Nora Emerson, Nelson Potter, and Nolan Potter.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
The family requests that contributions in Mary's memory be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation (10400 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 480, Columbia, MD 21044).
