James P. McRoy, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019.
He was born on November 6, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Wannetta (Orthober) McRoy. James was a graduate of Trinity High School and McKendree College.
He is preceded in death by his Father, William Eli McRoy, Mother, Wannetta Madonna McRoy.
James is survived by his Sister, Beverly Jane McRoy, and his Brothers, Robert John McRoy and David William (Lisa) McRoy.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home with cremation services to follow.
The family requests that contributions in James's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association by visiting alz.org and clicking "Donate".
