James "Doc" Glasgow , 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019. Doc was above all a loving father and grandfather and a devoted friend.
He was born on August 22, 1967 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert and Hazel (Branham) Glasgow . He is preceded in death by his parents; and his niece Tiffany Tomerlin.
James is survived by his son, Steven (Patience) Glasgow, son, James Glasgow, Jr., sister, Dorothy Twigg, sister, Gloria Beckham, brother, Robert Glasgow, brother, David Glasgow, brother , Donald Glasgow, brother , Darrell Glasgow, sister , Susan Hart, grandchild, Eli Glasgow, grandchild, Payton Glasgow, and grandchild, Aubrey Glasgow.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in James's memory be made to Riley's Children's Hospital.
