John Weaver

John L Weaver , 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. John was. retired from General Electric, and worked for Kentucky Trailer Assembly. He enjoyed playing Bingo, and being with friends and family. John enlisted in the US Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was a member of American Legion Post 157 Shepherdsville, Kentucky

He was born on July 14, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to Herbert and Ida (Marx) Weaver. He is preceded in death by his Parents.

John is survived by his, Daughters, Starr (Brett) Hammox, and Rachel (Paul) Horner, Granddaughter, Melesa Horner, Brother, Michael J (Mary) Weaver, Sisters, Mary (Tim) Potter, Betty (Billy) Morrow, Christine Barnes, and Becky Wimsatt (Harold Walker). John also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.

Visitation will held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). John's funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019, at 12:00 pm at Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions- Southwest Chapel. Burial with Graveside Services and Military Honors to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central), Radcliff, Kentucky.
